Organizer: Shuffle House LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company
This Participant Agreement ("Agreement") is a binding legal contract between you ("Participant") and Shuffle House LLC ("Organizer"). Participation in the retreat is voluntary and conditional upon acceptance of all terms below.
Participant acknowledges and agrees that Organizer acts solely as a retreat booking coordinator and is not the operator, owner, or manager of any services provided during the retreat.
Organizer does not own, operate, manage, employ, or control:
All service providers are independent contractors. Organizer's role is strictly limited to coordinating reservations, communications, and logistics.
Participant knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly assumes all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to:
Certain activities involve heightened risks:
Activity Waivers: Before participating in high-risk activities, Participant must sign applicable Activity-Specific Assumption of Risk forms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Shuffle House LLC, venue operators, and all affiliated entities from any claims arising from participation.
Important: This release applies to claims based on negligence. It does NOT apply to claims arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Insurance is required. Participation is conditional upon obtaining coverage meeting minimum requirements.
Proof required 30 days before retreat.
Important: Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Palm Beach County, Florida under AAA Consumer Rules.

Our retreat takes place in a remote area of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Insurance ensures you have financial protection if something unexpected happens.
Comprehensive coverage typically costs $150–$300 for a retreat of this price.
We don't endorse specific providers, but participants have used:

Shuffle House LLC
This policy applies to all retreat bookings. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@shufflehouse.co.
Refunds are based on when we receive your written cancellation notice:

If you must cancel less than 1 month before the retreat, you may transfer your spot to another person:
We may cancel or reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, government action, pandemic, etc.).
Option A: Reschedule to the following year (all payments transferred)
Option B: Partial refund of $300 (processed within 30 days)
